We'll go into the ins and outs of mix ratios in more detail below, but to simplify, a good concrete mix ratio for a concrete floor is: 1: cement 2: sand 4: coarse aggregates (for concrete slabs) When mixing, it's important that the concrete is placed within half an hour to ensure consistency and easy placement. This should be done using a ...

13/07/2020 · to mix 1 cubic meter of cement at a ratio of 3:1 how many 20kg of sand and 25kg bags of cement will be needed? We have now cut down to 1/2 a cubic metre apparently. The consensus for 1/2 a cube seems to be, 1 tonne sand, 14 bags cement. This should give 3:1 BY VOLUME! ( Use a bucket for easy and accurate measuring. Do not mix it by weight).

How To Calculate Quantities Of Materials For Concrete

Today we will discuss how to calculate quantities of materials for different concrete mix ratio. (Dry mix method) We will calculate quantities of materials for 1 m3 concrete (By volume). Let us assume the mix proportion is 1 : 2: 4 (Cement : Sand : Stone = a:b:c) Volume of wet concrete = 1 m3. Volume of dry concrete = 1 × = m3.
